This was one of my dream prints, and I was super excited to receive it. The seller was open to a payment plan split up into two payments which was very nice and convenient.
Unfortunately, when I opened the package the dress had a very strong mildew smell and it appeared to have hairs and dust on the fabric. The smell was bad. I attempted to message the seller to ask how it was stored so I could proceed with the most appropriate cleaning method, but I did not receive a response within 48 hours to address the issue. When I washed the dress by hand, the tub water turned brown and there was dirt/soot/hairs at the bottom of my washtub... I was able to get most of the smell out but in over ten years in the lolita community, I haven't had a dress arrive in that condition.
After washing the dress, the condition appears to be much better, but I was a bit disappointed in its condition upon arrival.
